Install upright posts securely on steeper gradients with our New Key Clamp Angled Oval Base 30–45°, designed to connect 48.3mm galvanised tube to sloping surfaces. This heavy-duty 48.3mm angled key clamp base flange is commonly used for modular handrail systems, guardrails and safety barriers where significant angle adjustment is required.

Manufactured from galvanised cast iron, this durable key clamp fitting delivers excellent corrosion resistance and long-term performance in both indoor and outdoor environments. The adjustable base accommodates installation angles between 30° and 45°, making it ideal for steep ramps, embankments and other inclined surfaces.

Designed for standard 48.3mm outside diameter tube, the fitting secures the tube using an integrated socket grub screw that can be tightened with a standard Allen key. As part of a modular tube clamp system, it enables strong tubular frameworks to be assembled quickly without welding while remaining easy to modify if required.

This 48.3mm angled key clamp base flange is particularly well suited to projects where conventional base flanges cannot provide the required upright alignment on steeply sloping ground. For level installations, our 48.3mm Oval Base Flange offers the most suitable fixing solution.
