New Shear Plate

A heavy duty fixing plate for 48.3mm scaffold tube, complete with EN74 half drop forged fittings. Designed with 6 x 14mm holes to maximise versatility of attachment. Suitable for 12mm screwbolts.

Plate size: 185mm x 185mm x 8mm

Hot-dip galvanised finish – not to be mistaken for cheaper and inferior zinc.

Load Data

• Recommended tensile load is 10.0kN in concrete class C20/25.
• Recommended shear load is 6.3kN in concrete class C20/25.
• When used with 4 no M12x75 concrete screw bolts with embedment of 60mm.
• Loadings can be increased by the application of suitable check fittings.
• In all case an assessment of the suitability of the base material should be made and where applicable, or required, testing should be undertaken with the plate in situ.
• The stated figures are not, and should not be taken as, an assurance that the base material is capable of withstanding the loading.
