The Adjustable U-Head 4″ (100mm) is designed to fit into the top of a compatible adjustable steel Acrow prop, providing a stable support for timber beams during formwork, falsework, and temporary structural support applications. Featuring a 500mm roll-threaded tube with a double handle collar, it allows precise height adjustment, making it ideal where fine levelling is required.

Manufactured from heavy-duty steel, the adjustable U-head provides a safe working load of 4000kg and is built for demanding construction environments. Its compact 100mm cradle is ideal for supporting narrower timber sections while maintaining a secure bearing surface.

This adjustable U-head is designed for use with compatible adjustable steel Acrow props. Always ensure the prop is installed correctly on a suitable load-bearing surface and that the safe working load of the complete support system is not exceeded. Loadings should always be calculated before use and, where necessary, advice should be sought from a Structural Engineer.

Collection, Delivery & Returns

We now ship nationwide! Online orders are available for delivery throughout mainland UK or Click & Collect from our Exeter branch.

We use trusted courier services and pallet networks for larger or heavier items. Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on your postcode, order size, and weight. Please note: delivery excludes Highlands and Islands, and some postcode surcharges or exclusions may apply.

Order before 11am for same day dispatch on in-stock items (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays). Typical delivery is 1-3 working days from dispatch, depending on location and item type.
