Acrow Prop Support

The Acrow Prop Support, also known as a Strongboy, blade, or prop head, is designed to provide temporary support to masonry during structural alterations. Used in conjunction with a compatible Acrow prop, it allows brick and stonework above openings to be safely supported while installing lintels, removing walls, or carrying out renovation work.

Manufactured from heavy-duty steel, the prop support is designed to slot into a prepared mortar joint, providing secure support to single skin walls up to 225mm thick. Suitable for professional builders, contractors, and structural repair projects, it offers a safe and efficient solution for temporary masonry support.

Please Note

This prop support must be used in conjunction with a suitable Acrow prop and installed by a competent person. The stated loadings are based on use with Acrow props supplied by WCT Scaffold Supplies. Loadings should always be calculated before use and, where necessary, advice should be sought from a Structural Engineer.

Collection, Delivery & Returns

We now ship nationwide! Online orders are available for delivery throughout mainland UK or Click & Collect from our Exeter branch.

We use trusted courier services and pallet networks for larger or heavier items. Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on your postcode, order size, and weight. Please note: delivery excludes Highlands and Islands, and some postcode surcharges or exclusions may apply.

Order before 11am for same day dispatch on in-stock items (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays). Typical delivery is 1-3 working days from dispatch, depending on location and item type.
