WCT Scaffold Supplies are an independent stockist of both new and used scaffolding based just outside of Exeter, Devon. Read on to learn more about us.

The company was established in 2020 as a merchant of salvaged building supplies and reclamation. When life resumed after lockdown, the soaring demand for reclaimed timber meant that the sale of our used scaffold boards went through the roof. And with that, we found requests for other used scaffolding products were coming in thick and fast. So, WCT Scaffold Supplies was born. As a result, the rest is history…

Collection

Online orders are available for click & collect from our Exeter branch only.

To collect products from our unit in Topsham, simply select the click & collect option at check-out. We will then send you an email when your order is ready to collect. We aim to have all orders ready for collection within 24 hours of receipt.

We have loading facilities available for larger orders and our yard team are happy to assist with smaller orders that need to be loaded by hand.

Please note – it’s your responsibility to make sure that your purchases are safely secured and of a suitable weight for your vehicle when you collect.

In-House Fleet Delivery - South West

Online orders are available for delivery from our Exeter branch only.

We now offer courier and pallet delivery across mainland UK (some exclusions apply).

For larger orders, or for items shown as “click & collect only”, we can arrange delivery within the South West using our own fleet, subject to availability and a minimum order value.

Our vehicles include:

3.5 tonne vehicles – for smaller, local deliveries
18 tonne rigid lorries – for medium and bulk loads
26 tonne HIAB lorries – suitable for larger loads with mechanical offload included

Delivery costs are calculated based on order size, weight and delivery location.

Courier & Pallet Delivery - UK-Wide

We offer courier and pallet delivery across mainland UK, with the following exclusions applying to all delivery services: offshore islands, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, and selected remote areas of Scotland.

Orders placed before 11am (Monday–Friday, excluding bank holidays) will usually be dispatched the same day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day. Courier and pallet deliveries are typically delivered within 1–2 days from dispatch.

Delivery charges are calculated at checkout. For a quicker estimate, customers can add items to their basket and enter their town and postcode on the basket page to view delivery costs before proceeding through checkout.

Smaller items are delivered via courier services such as DPD or DX, while heavier or bulk orders are delivered on pallets via Palletways.

Pallet deliveries are made to kerbside or a suitable accessible delivery point. Customers must be available to receive delivery in person and will receive tracking information in advance, including a 2-hour delivery window on the day of delivery. Please note that double pallets may require customer offloading due to size and vehicle limitations.

Frequently Asked Questions

I want to collect but don’t want to order through your website, can I just turn up at your address?

If you would like to come and collect but don’t want to purchase through our website, you are welcome to come and visit us in person to complete your order.

However, it’s always beneficial to purchase online using click & collect as you can see what’s in stock. Placing an order through our website also means the items will be held until collection.

Am I able to choose my own scaffold boards?

We know that secondhand scaffold boards have many uses and some of these require highly graded boards. However, we run a working yard where heavy machinery and large vehicles are operated, meaning it is not always safe for our clients to enter our storage facility to access our supply of boards. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to offer you a choice of boards. They are products that have been used on building sites and therefore may show some signs of wear and tear. While we can’t always offer you the opportunity to look through the boards yourself, please do let our team know if there is a particular standard of board you require, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Do you offer in-house delivery?

We offer an in-house delivery service for customers based in the South West. This service is available for larger orders or for items that cannot be sent via courier or pallet delivery (such as collection-only items or bulk loads).While we no longer offer an online booking system for this, in-house deliveries can still be arranged by contacting our sales team on 01392 984164, who will be able to confirm availability and assist with arrangements.

Do you offer UK-wide delivery for all products?

We offer courier and pallet delivery across mainland UK for most products. Smaller items are delivered via courier, while larger or bulk orders are delivered on pallets depending on size and weight. Some products may be restricted to pallet delivery or in-house delivery only due to their size, weight, or handling requirements. Delivery options and costs are shown at checkout, or can be previewed by adding items to your basket and entering your postcode.

Can my items be refunded or exchanged?

You have 14 days to change your mind on any products purchased through our website, providing the items are returned in the same condition we sold them to you in. If this is the case, please notify us as soon as possible. You will then have 14 days to return the products to us, at which point the items will be refunded in full (excluding any delivery costs). Please note that you may be charged for collection if you would like our team to come and pick up items for return.

If a product is faulty, please let us know within 48 hours of receiving it so our sales team can assist in exchanging the item or arranging return in exchange for a full refund (excluding any delivery costs).
